Rina Benmayor, co-directs the Oral History and Community Memory Institute. She teaches oral history, Latina life stories, testimonio, Latina/o literature.

Renée Curry, Director, Institute for Human Communication, teaches American and British literature, post-colonial theory, and film studies.

Ilene Feinman teaches women's studies, politics and participation, American multicultural studies.

Josina Makau teaches practical and professional ethics.

Debian Marty teaches communication ethics, free speech and social responsibility, rhetoric, and women's studies.

Cecilia O'Leary co-directs the Oral History and Community Memory Institute. She teaches cultural history, public history, and comparative U.S.-Latin American women's history, new media technologies.

Qun Wang teaches American literature and American ethnic literature and cultures.
