DEPTH CONCENTRATIONS
3) WOMEN'S STUDIES CONCENTRATION
The Women's Studies Concentration offers an intensive interdisciplinary
preparation in the theories, issues, and practices of multicultural
feminisms. Students may choose a topic or theme around which
to organize their study.
Through this concentration, students have the opportunity
to focus on the following:
- Gendered power relationships in society.
- Multicultural feminist inquiry, analysis, and activism.
- Diversity of women's experiences.
- Intersections of oppression and privilege.
- Women's creative expression.
