DEPTH CONCENTRATIONS

3) WOMEN'S STUDIES CONCENTRATION

The Women's Studies Concentration offers an intensive interdisciplinary preparation in the theories, issues, and practices of multicultural feminisms. Students may choose a topic or theme around which to organize their study.

Through this concentration, students have the opportunity to focus on the following:

  • Gendered power relationships in society.
  • Multicultural feminist inquiry, analysis, and activism.
  • Diversity of women's experiences.
  • Intersections of oppression and privilege.
  • Women's creative expression.
